Reserving the Date

Call the church office (813) 253-0811 to schedule a date and time for your wedding.  The date must be cleared on both the church calendar and the minister’s personal calendar.  The date will be put on the church calendar only after the $250 deposit to be applied toward wedding expenses is received in the church office.  Check is to be made payable to First Christian Church.   Balance is due two weeks prior to the date of the wedding.  If the wedding is cancelled 30 days prior to the reserved date the entire amount will be refunded.  No refunds will be made after that date.

Once the wedding is booked, contact the Senior Minister or Associate Minister to arrange for pre-marital counseling.  The wedding is “officially” scheduled only after meeting with the minister.  Please wait to send out invitations until the wedding is “official.” 

Once the wedding is official, please contact the church’s Wedding Coordinator and Director of Music as soon as possible to arrange a meeting to discuss the service and music.
